Cannon Cartridge refilling

Welcome to my journal, filled with obnoxious opinions. The title says it all. I post things that may or may not be relevant to my life. This public journal was created for the sake of myself and for my personal uses. It's where I put my thoughts down into words. It's where I learn, understand, and discover myself.

Unrealistic expectations
Wednesday, November 3, 2010 @ 11:27 PM

Boy: I think that we should be dating other people.
Girl: But I thought we were going together.
Boy: Well, not really.
Girl: What about everything you told me about how you feel about me?
Boy: I didn't really mean it that way.

We've all seen situations like these. Someone getting hurt because another person led them on. Everyone has the tendency to want to flatter and please other people, which results in setting unrealistic expectations.

We say things to please other people when we don't really mean it. I guess you can consider that as lying. Sending vague messages or implying something that's not true or not likely to happen, in the end, will disappoint people.

It's better off being realistic up front. Tell it like it is.
