Dear you: Learn to express yourself

One of the hardest things to do when you're communicating with someone is expressing yourself. How many times have you said something that just didn't come out the way you wanted it to? How many times have we said something that we really didn't mean, but we were too frustrated to stop it from being said? Some people have a fear of expressing themselves. They're afraid to say something that might cost them something valuable. They bottle everything up and never share their true emotions.
The problem is, no one will know what you want or what you're thinking if you don't express your feelings. If you don't stand up and talk for yourself, no one will know what you want to say. News flash: People can't read minds.
When you want to say something, say it. But use common sense. Don't go off saying something completely idiotic and weird so that people will avoid you. Say it right then and there, because you might not have a chance to say it later.
If you love someone, tell them. If you don't like someone, show it. If you're annoyed, act annoyed. Write someone a love letter, hate letter, a story or poem. Just express yourself so people will know what you are thinking.
Don't you want to show the world what is going on in that beautiful mind of yours?
