“The song White Horse is about, in my mind, the saddest moment of the break up. To me, the saddest moment of a break up is when you realize that all these dreams that you’ve had and all these plans that you’ve made in your head, that that person’s gonna be the one that you end up with…it’s that moment where you have to stop believing in all those songs and that he’s really just a part of your past and that he has nothing to do with your future. And it’s when all those dreams come crashing down. And the way that you feel in that moment. Because everybody has that moment, and you’re just like ‘oh wow, he’s not the one.
